RuPaul's Drag Race Wrap Party

Last night, cast, crew and friends of WOW joined drag queen superstar RuPaul in the Storefront Gallery for the wrap party of her new competition series RuPaul's Drag Race, which finished filming this week. Partygoers drank Absolut® vodka specialty cocktails, danced to a mix CD made by RuPaul, and shared tales of the catfights, tears, artistry, and general drag-queen drama that has filled their lives for the duration of the shoot. Get ready to separate the Creatures from the Features when RuPaul's Drag Race airs January 2009 on Logo Network.

Why aren't there more famous transvestites? the TMZ paparazzo with the video camera rather impertinently asked our RuPaul. And Ru turned it around. RuPaul on Runway

While RuPaul is hosting and sashaying on her own reality competition show, RuPaul's Drag Race on Logo, she'll also be guest-judging on the new season of Bravo's popular Project Runway, along with other guest judges Apolo Ohno, LL Cool J, Rachel Zoe, Cynthia Rowley, Diane von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein, and former Runway contestant Austin Scarlett. You might recall from an earlier WOW Report post showing him with Charo, that RuPaul is upstairs here at World of Wonder workin' on his Drag Race reality show. The news of the show is out, so we called him on his extension to get a statement, but he didn't answer. We're going to have to trek to the fourth floor. Meanwhile, here's a link.
