Pam: Girl on the Loose Finale Tonight

On tonight's final episode of World of Wonder's observational docuseries on Pamela Anderson, Pam: Girl on the Loose (E! at 10PM), she celebrates her birthday in Las Vegas with all the malarkey such a celebration obviously entails. Meanwhile, the series has gained some manner of notoriety by being No 8 in Entertainment Weekly's list of "The 10 Dumbest TV Shows of 2008," the kind of press you can't just buy. "Never mind that a 41-year-old still refers to herself as a girl," writes EW's Alynda Wheat. "The lamest thing about Pammy's E! reality show is that for all her talk of revealing the "real" her, all we learn is that she really, really likes sex. Don't we already know that?" And not long ago, when a reader asked the "Personality Parade" in Parade magazine if PETA person Anderson was aware that her Ugg boots were made of sheepskin, Pammy replied, "Call me blonde, but I wore Ugg boots before I realized that they were sheepskin. I try to avoid all animal products, although my closet isn't 100 percent free of leather and wool – yet."

Pam: Girl on the Loose Is Loose All Over the Map Tonight

While the above photo makes it look like Pam got married in a surprise ceremony (in Moscow, no less), she was only acting a bride for Canadian band The Pilgrims in their "Rave of Motors" music video. Meanwhile, on her World of Wonder docuseries Pam: Girl on the Loose on E! tonight at 10, she wreaks blonde havoc on Europe, beginning in the UK with some lap-dancing in the car on her way to appear on London's The Sunday Night Project, and ending down under with her guest spot on the Australian Big Brother. On the Ellen DeGeneres show today, World of Wonder reality star Pamela Anderson answered questions about the absurd rumor that she's dating Michael Jackson. "He just wants me to be in a video," she said. "My life is so interesting. My life is a blur." Anderson, whose conversational style is a blonde medley of cryptic asides and mumbled throwaway lines, was true to form when DeGeneres wanted to know if she and Jackson had been hanging out. Pam: Girl on the Loose Gets Tight Tonight

Tonight's episode of Pam: Girl on the Loose, World of Wonder's observational documentary series following Pamela Anderson around as she gets up to things, is pretty jam-packed with adventure, if you ask us. There's a lot of building and flying as she heads to Abu Dhabi to oversee the hotel she's erecting (yes, we said it) and to talk animal rights with the Arabs and put herself on the auction block. Episode airs tonight at 10PM on E!

We can understand why Pamela Anderson would be putting up a hotel in the futureworld of Abu Dhabi, but who knew she owned land in Canada and was building 80 units on it? In tonight's episode of World of Wonder's Pam: Girl on the Loose series, the famous blonde takes a look at the property, and she hangs with her auntie. When Pam stops by the office today or tomorrow, we'll bump into her and ask about the silly story that she's dating Michael Jackson. Meanwhile, tune in to Pam: Girl on the Loose tonight at 10 on E!

Last night, at the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery, there was a private screening of WOW's new E! reality series, Pam: Girl on the Loose, which airs Sundays at 10 on E! The event was, of course, a party peopled by the show's producers, execs from E! and other nets, with a liberal infusion of WOW workers and friends. Pamela was out of town. But was well represented on screen.

The Hollywood Reporter talks about Pam: Girl on the Loose, which premieres Sunday at 10PM on E!.

Peter & Gordon: Pier Pleasure

Peter Asher, who was the Peter half of '60s Britpop duo Peter & Gordon and whose sister Jane was Beatle Paul's girlfriend and played a groupie in A Hard Day's Night, is currently Pamela Anderson's manager and is a major player in Pam: Girl on the Loose. In a recent email to friends he writes:

A number of people have repeatedly asked me to let them know if and when Peter & Gordon are ever playing a gig in the LA area. That time has come. We are doing a free show on Santa Monica Pier on Thursday August 21st. The show begins at 7pm but Gerry and the Pacemakers go on first so I would imagine we start around 8pm or shortly thereafter. More info [here]. I want to emphasize that I am certainly not asking or expecting anyone to come. I just don’t want to get into trouble later for not having let my friends know!
