Dial M for Madonna
Here's one of the few Madonna-related images you won't see at the "Dial M for Madonna" group art show at the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery this Friday: photographer wowe's shot of Junky author William Burroughs, a passing joint, and a brunette singer named Madonna back in 1987 in New York. But there are over 100 other works of art on display – or, as co-curator Steven Corfe likes to say, "One for every year of her life." The show opens with a bang and a cocktail reception on May 23, from 8 to midnight. Time may go by so slowly for Madge, but it'll be Friday in no time at all.
