Daily Freak Show

James St James, acclaimed 2008 Lambda Literary Awards finalist, reads from his y/a novel, Freak Show, at A Different Light Bookstore, as do some other wan 2008 Lambda Award finalists, but their monotone readings pale next to James' one-man-show theatricality. (Somebody please get this guy a one-man show.) Afterward, St James tries to get the poop from emcee Christopher Rice about the plot of his next novel, then flirts himself into a sweat talking to the bookstore's manager.
