The Bear Can't Bear It
Knut the famous polar bear, like Lindsay, Paris, and Britney before him, has become addicted to the limelight and turns psycho when deprived of it. "He is addicted to the whole show, the human adulation," said one of his keepers at the Berlin Zoo. "It is not healthy. He actually cries out or whimpers if there is not a spectator outside his enclosure ready to ooh and aah at him. When the zoo had to shut because of black ice everywhere he howled until staff members calmed him down." The keeper said Knut should leave the zoo and be sent to an animal park where he'll receive less attention. Knut in rehab, like a human celeb. But that's unlikely to happen anytime soon – the bear's brought in $12 million so far from visitors to the zoo. (Daily Mail)
