All About Steve-O

After threatening to kill himself on Sunday, Jackass star Steve-O was taken to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai, tested for drugs, checked into the Thalians Mental Health Center for crisis intervention, and put on a 72-hour hold extended to 14 days. "Steve is stabilized on meds at this point," a source told Star. "He was also treated for burns on his skin as if he had been putting cigarettes out on his own body." His friends and family had become increasingly concerned about his mental state since March 3, when he was arrested for cocaine possession after a dispute with a neighbor. A close family member told the tabloid that Steve-O suffers from untreated bipolar disorder. (Star)
