Fenton Bailey Does Business in Dubai

Fenton writes again:
First meeting of the day was Dubailand, the mega theme park that will open here in 2010. Currently there are just over one million people in Dubai; Dubailand will add another two million. The sales office is a theme park in itself: tigers in reception and a Lego replica of the world's tallest tower. At the center of the truly vast model for Dubailand are two crystal spires, which will be the equivalent of the Las Vegas strip. We left the sales office and drove into the desert for about half an hour and came upon these gates, markers for where the Vegas of the East will rise in less than two years.
