Katie Holmes Goes Legitimate

in Theater

TktstimessquareKatieholmesbdway
Katie Holmes will make her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons (not My Three Sons, the Fred MacMurray sitcom with which it's often confused), beginning previews September 18, opening officially October 16. The play also stars John Lithgow, Diane Wiest, and Patrick Wilson. We don't know if it's because Mrs Cruise will be trodding the boards for the first time or because the production is a limited engagement, but the price of admission to see her and her cohorts emote will cost a theatergoer plenty – especially for a non-musical. The cost of a premium ticket, like gasoline, will inch up to $251.50, hitting the rafters at $301.50 on holidays. Those will be the same prices for the Daniel Radcliffe-starrer, Equus. By comparison, top ticket prices for the recent Tony-winners August: Osage County and Boeing-Boeing are $110 and $99.50, respectively. Respectfully. (Source)
