Factory Star Sounds Off on Warhol

Factory habitué Taylor Mead, it's now come to light, hated Andy Warhol and will tell all about the Pop star if his Son of Andy Warhol book, currently being shopped, gets published. In it, the 83-year-old New Yorker calls Warhol a gnome and a total phony. According to Mead, Warhol ignored friends, stiffed employees, and used "hatchet people" to protect him from "anyone not 'au courant,' rich or newly famous, of-the-moment, a possible advertiser, or good-looking."
