Friends: They'll Finally Be There for You
You can thank – or curse – the shocking success of Sex and the City's recent theatrical presentation for the probability of Friends heading to the big screen in the near future via Warner Bros. The "gang" – you know 'em, you love 'em – now considerably longer in the tooth, are said to be eager to reprise their roles (probably none more eager than Matt LeBlanc, who's gotta be outta pocket money by now, don't you think?). The idea to make a Friends movie has, of course, come up virtually every day since the last TV episode was shot, but there were always impediments. Like this one, reported by the Daily Mail: "'What's held back a Friends movie so far is that people were worried that Jennifer had simply become too famous to play Rachel again." Hah! She's so totally ready now, what with her own production company and all. Developing.
