Oprah Has Tut in Common

The latest piece from sculptor Daniel Edwards, whose work comments on celebrity and pop culture (previously, you'll remember, he's sculpted Prince Harry dead, Paris dead, and Britney on a bearskin rug) is The Oprah Sarcophagus, a dead(pan) ringer for the eternal encasement of Egypt's King Tutankhamun. Winfrey is cast in bronze as a nude, full-breasted woman with wide-load hips. Edwards has taken the work out of mentally undressing Oprah. (Source)
