Party Monster Jr

Coredelayneyaftermath
Corey Worthington, the 16-year-old who threw the out-of-control "best party ever" for 500 teens at his house in suburban Melbourne while his parents were away, has been arrested. He will appear in children's court, charged with "matters arising from the party," which devolved into a melee that forced police to call in a helicopter and the dog squad after partygoers became aggressive and charged helter-skelter into the street. Meanwhile, because of an interview he gave on a local television station the next day, in which he appeared steadfastly unrepentant and refused to remove his "famous" yellow sunglasses, young Corey has become a media darling, with lucrative offers pouring in for him to throw more parties. "He won't speak to us," said his back-from-holiday stepfather, Mr Delaney, "and you can understand why, because I think he knows what's coming. He's got to start to show some remorse. We're a family that's extremely upset." (Daily Mail; photos: Icon Images)
