It's Miss Jackson, If You're P-Nasty
When we found out that Janet Jackson wanted to sit down with Perez for our big Divas show, World of Wonder became TIZZY CENTRAL. OMG! We have to do this right. More lights! More prepping! More! More! More! We set up shop in a suite at the Four Seasons and lit the room within an inch of its life. You could feel the nervous energy all around. It’s not every day that you get to meet a true superstar… unless of course, you’re us and you book one after another for our phenomenal DIVAS show. We have Dolly Parton! Gloria Estefan! Mary J. Blige! Tori Amos! Pink! Keyshia Cole! Nastasha Bedingfield! Jill Scott! Chaka Khan! It’s officially LLO (Living Legend Overload) around here.
But back to Miss Jackson. We knew we were in for a good time when her completely down-to-earth publicist arrived first and told us all to relax, that Janet was really cool and would put us all at ease. And then…poof! There she was. She looked amazing, and wait until you see the show. Can I get a F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S, please? She and Perez clicked and he got some stuff out of her you’ve never seen in any of her previous interviews. After the interview, she surprised a teeming horde of gays at a nightclub and… well, you’re just gonna have to watch the rest to find out what happened. I'm a tease that way. What Perez Sez... About Divas premieres TONIGHT, Tuesday February 19th, at 10pm on VH1.
