Most hilarious bit of Oscar-nomination advertising I've seen so far? A devastatingly romantic trailer for Atonement on Variety.com accompanied by One Republic's song, "Apologize.'" Geddit? GEDDIT? Because it's TOO LATE for snively little Briony to 'POLOGIZE?! Good grief, where do these editors find their inspiration? From the fan-made adolescent-girl section of YouTube? Actually, that's not as far-fetched as it might seem.
