Deconstructing Donald

in Art

Donaldduckskeleton
South Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee's skeleton of Donald Duck (nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie here), part of his "Animatus" show at the natural history museum in Basel, Switzerland, imagining the understructure of cartoon characters. If the works are meant to be witty, the humor is dry-bones ironic. Curious documentation after the jump.
