Recently Dead

Patricia Ziegfeld Stephenson, the only child of Florenz Ziegfeld (you've heard of the Ziegfeld Follies?) and Billie Burke (Glinda the Good Witch anyone?), died at home in LA earlier this month of congestive heart failure. She was 91. Pampered, she grew up in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida, and had a menagerie that included an elephant.
