Harry Potter's Wand
Daniel Radcliffe is bringing his junk Stateside. The smash West End revival of Equus will open on Broadway in September at the Broadhurst Theatre, reports the NY Daily News. Radcliffe will reprise his role as the psycho stable boy who blinds horses with a metal spike in Peter Shaffer's play that has always been saved from its dated lameness by the presence of full-frontal male nudity. (This is especially true in local little-theater productions.) The theater's go-to homo, Richard Griffiths, plays the boy's shrink. A younger New York crowd will likely flock to the play in the hope of having their eyes put out by Radcliffe's spike.
