A Wife-Beater Is Not Just a Shirt

David Naughton, star of 1981's An American Werewolf in London and, more famously, those peppy Dr Pepper commercials in the '70s, was arrested in Nevada on domestic battery charges stemming from an incident on January 28, when "he used willful and unlawful force against" Seann, his wife of five months, "by placing his hands upon her, grabbing her in a forceful manner and throwing her around." He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but 28 days were suspended, and he served the first day when he was arrested, and spent the second day in jail on Monday. (Peeps; TMZ)
