Shia LaBeouf: Didn't See It Coming

Actor Shia LaBeouf has officially entered the increasingly crowded pantheon of Hollywood's famous young drunks. Reports say he was making a left turn at the intersection of La Brea and Fountain in West Hollywood around 2:30 this morning when his Ford F-150 pickup rammed into another car and rolled over twice. LaBeouf, his female passenger, and the woman driving the other vehicle were all injured. The three were taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where LaBoeuf will be requiring surgery on his left hand. "It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest," said a sergeant from the LA County Sheriff's Department. TMZ reports that LaBeouf will be booked on suspicion of felony DUI, unless the injuries sustained by the driver of the other car are minor, in which case he'll be cited and released on misdemeanor DUI.
