    Dubai: Heat and Dust

    Fenton Bailey is still in the Arab Emirates and sending reports:

    Atlantis
    For the past week Dubai has been shrouded in a strange hot fog, like something out of a Stephen King novel. While it's tempting to blame all the construction for the perma haze, the official explanation is that it's dust from neighboring Iraq. Now that the dust is settling, it's getting really really really hot.
