Weed Like to Have Seen It

Now about that "fake weed" bit that Seth Rogan and James Franco did last night on MTV before presenting the award for best summer movie. You'll recall that just as the two Pineapple Express stars said that only potheads like them were willing to present such a category and proceeded to light up a "fake fatty joint" with a "fake lighter," the camera suddenly pulled away to the back of the amphitheater and stayed there until the actors left the stage. But Franco said that MTV put them up to the joke, writing the script, and supplying the weed and the joint — but changed their minds at the last minute. Was it really fake weed? "I don't know," Franco said. "MTV gave it to us." (AP)
