Remembering Brad Renfro

Dozens of fans, friends, and colleagues gathered in memory of actor Brad Renfro last night outside of Crane's Hollywood Tavern in Hollywood. We lit candles and had a moment of silence and prayer. Then everyone shared their memories of Brad and the mark he left on us all. Brad's fan and friend RuDee Lipscomb, who organized the event, posted an Angel Board which allowed people to write a message to be put in a book for Brad's family in Knoxville,Tennessee, where he will be buried. Because Brad wanted to be remembered as an entertainer, we all gave him a round of applause followed by RuDee playing music from Brad's band, Frodad. I had the pleasure of working with Brad on my first film, Bully. He was great person, always filled with laughter and mischief and will surely be missed. Photographer Derek Van Oss wanted to share these photos for all the friends and fans who couldn't be there.
