Fox News' Roger Friedman is reporting that the all-star fundraiser Gucci is throwing on February 6 for Madonna's charity, Raising Malawi, in heated tents on the lawn of the United Nations, may not be all that kosher. Seems the whole event, cohosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and Salma Hayek, may be one big con to get UNICEF USA and Gucci into helping her raise money for Philip Berg’s Kabbalah Center of Los Angeles. Berg’s son Michael started Raising Malawi under the pretext of helping orphans in that impoverished country. But after Madonna helped herself to one, David Banda, Berg and the rest of the Kabbalah/Raising Malawi team went to work on their real cause: indoctrinating unsuspecting Malawi orphans into their brand of mysticism.
