West Goes South

Though Kanye West's people are saying his not showing up to play at Rockefeller Center on the Today show last week was "a creative decision" because he wanted to do an elaborate indoor show instead, it seems to be part of his campaign of petulance, which he demonstrated nicely at the VMAs when he didn't win anything. West also canceled his appearance on TRL, passed on David Letterman, and is thinking of backing out of Ellen and not hosting Saturday Night Live next month. Seems he figures he doesn't have to promote his Graduation album now that he's outselling and winning the public feud with 50 Cent. A noble experiment. (Page Six)
