What Would Kathy Griffin Do?

"I guess hell froze over," Kathy Griffin told told the audience as she accepted her Emmy trophy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on Saturday for her My Life on the D-List series. "A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this. He had nothing to do with this... Suck it, Jesus, this award is my God now." Naturally, Bill Donohue, the president of the Catholic League, found he couldn't turn the other cheek, calling what she said a "kind of vulgar in-your-face brand of hate speech" coming from a self-described "complete militant atheist."
