You Know What? What? That's What
As childish as it is simple, Paris doesn't actually hold the copyright on the expression "That's hot" the way Cindy Adams has legal ownership of "Only in New York, kids, only in New York," because, of course, Adams is smarter than Hilton. Still, you gotta hand it to Hilton, she does own her face. So she's set her legal team loose on Hallmark for using her vapid mug on a somewhat amusing greeting card that imagines the heiress' first day as a waitress. The lawyers filed a complaint yesterday in U.S. District Court in LA alleging that Hallmark has, among other things, misappropriated her image and invaded her privacy, and are asking for $500,000 in damages and a permanent injunction on further exploitation. What puzzles us, though, is what would be an occasion that would call for a card with Paris Hilton serving a man what looks like ham and mashed potatoes? (Details at The Smoking Gun)

The disfigured guy with the 3rd degree burns, and 6 Trillion dollar settlement, A-hem (aquired after being handed a Cup Of Micky-D's, Java, and clearly told, "That's Hot") might want to send that card to the Drive up window guy, who I hear, lost his job after the incident, Ya, he might be an awesome recipient.
After all; The man who sued = Selfish Pig
Paris Hilton = .......well, you get the gist.
Great now she'll just go liberate another pet shop kitten, or puppy.... to ease the pain of not banking on a phrase- that, NICOLE STARTED!!!- HELLO?
How about she purchase the phrase,
"That's H-a-u-t-e!" I think that's much more refined.
