Paris Postponed
Paris Hilton's first big post-jail philanthropic effort – her trip to Rwanda to help the children – has been postponed by the org that planned it, Playing for Good Foundation, blaming the foundation's sudden "restructuring." "Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing For Good but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip," said the foundation in a statement to People. "Playing for Good would like to thank Ms. Hilton for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time." Much later, wethinks. When she announced her plan last month to visit Rwanda, she said, "There's so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help." Perhaps after someone at the foundation asked Hilton for suggestions on what can be done, someone suggested the restructuring.
