John Lennon was many things to many people, but few knew he had ties with Australia's Aboriginal afterlife. Until now. Shortly before he died, Lennon is said to have told his older son Julian, "If anything ever happens to me, look for a white feather and you will know I am there for you, always looking out for you." Probably little comfort for the son who was mostly ignored by Daddy in the here and now. But sure enough, when the 44-year-old Julian – Down Under shooting his 2006 doc Whaledreamers – was taking part in an ancient ceremony with an Aboriginal tribe, as people will, he was handed a white feather and Beatle John appeared to him. "It was a very weird and emotional moment for Julian. He was left speechless," a source told the Daily Express. No word on what John was wearing or what advice, if any, he gave on filming documentaries. But wait, there's more. Sir Paul has said that John once appeared to him and his band as a white peacock back in 1995 back when they were recording "Free As a Bird." (Digital Spy)
