Friends, Romans, Countrymen
Stelios Arcadiou, a performance artist we'd say was the reincarnation of Peter Boyle, if he weren't so old and we believed in reincarnation, has "astonished his contemporaries" by grafting a third ear onto his left forearm. Sounds a bit Frankensteinish (shades again of Peter Boyle) but, mercifully, the ear was grown in a lab from cells, and is now growing somewhat normally on his arm, though at present he says it's "more of a relief than an ear, but still recognizable as an ear." His hope, after the ear has matured, is to implant a microphone in it so that others "can listen to what my ear is hearing," he says. Frankly, here at WOW, the news fell on deaf arms.
