Sticks It to Him

JapatowpgsixWhen he spoke at the New Yorker Festival on Sunday, Knocked Up and Superbad director Judd Apatow reminisced about the executive who axed his two television series, Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared, both of which fall into the Brilliant but Canceled category. Freaks was on NBC, Undeclared on Fox; the exec canceled Freaks at NBC, then moved to Fox to cancel Undeclared. Apatow said that when he sensed Undeclared was going to be canceled, he wrote the suit a letter saying, "I don't understand how you can fuck me in the ass when your dick is still in me from last time." (Page Six)

Yeah, we know. We always forget not to trust Page Six, which today said, "NOTE to the idiotic television executive who axed Judd Apatow's two network comedies a few years back - the now red-hot director of "Superbad" and "Knocked Up" is gunning for him." We shoulda checked first.
