Beauty Will Out

Puerto Rican beauty queen Ingrid Marie Rivera's hard-fought campaign to represent her island home in the Miss Universe 2008 competition proves hands down that there is nothing quite as cutthroat as a Puerto Rican beauty pageant! Her makeup and gowns were repeatedly sprayed with pepper spray, which caused her to break out in painful and unattractive hives. Gowns not sprayed were stolen along with her purse and credit cards, and when that didn't seem to throw her off her game, someone started calling in bomb threats! But despite jealous bitches and nasty pranks, Ingrid went on to claim the Miss Puerto Rico Universe crown and coveted spot as the island's Miss Universe 2008 contestant!
