Something in the Air
Thom Stone, Amy Winehouse's tour manager has walked out on the tour which at the moment is pulling into Glasgow for a show tonight. Stone claims that working for Winehouse and her currently jailed husband has been detrimental to his health – seems doctors found heroin in his blood, which he says could only have gotten there from his inhaling it out of the air in the tour bus. Congratulations to Thom Stone for coming up with that totally new explanation for drugs in the system! Meanwhile, Andrew Lloyd Webber, who some say has an ear for music, was in the audience at Winehouse's reportedly disastrous Birmingham gig on Wednesday and claims to have heard an "Ella Fitzgerald quality" with "flashes of genius" in her performance. "I thought there were moments when she was absolutely magnificent," said the man who had a massive chandelier crash into the audience during every performance of his Phantom of the Opera.
