Miss Demeanor

Paris Hilton might assume she has nothing to lose by driving her expensive Bentley after already being sentenced to jail time for doing exactly that, but she could gain extra time in the pokey. Nose-thumbing the law is a misdemeanor. Photographers followed her yesterday as she got lost and made three illegal U-turns. That petition for her "pardon," by the way, is still being circulated on the internet, even though the governor has said he won't look at it; he reads only "important" petitions.
