Judge Michael T Sauer has sentenced Paris Hilton to be imprisoned for 45 days in County Jail beginning June 5. He said he didn't believe her when she said she didn't know her license was suspended, since the paperwork she'd signed regarding the suspension was in her car, and that he found the testimony of her mouthpiece Elliot Mintz "completely worthless." Hilton must serve every single minute of her 45 days; she will not be allowed work release, furloughs, use of an alternative jail, or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail. The office of LA City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo released this statement: "City Attorney Delgadillo believes today's ruling sends a clear message that in the City of Los Angeles, no one is above the law."
