Grindhouse Is Not a Café
If Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's much-anticipated sex-and-gore movie Grindhouse is to be released with an R rating, sadly, some of its scenes will have to be trimmed. A Page Six "operative," who got a sneak look at some of the double feature said it was so graphic that, as it stood, it was definitely headed for NC-17. Rose McGowan's machine-gun leg almost seems like Happy Feet compared to some of the film's images. In a trailer for Werewolf Women of the SS, a non-existent film by Rob Zombie that plays between the two features, "a cute, topless girl is roughly tied down on a table by evil female Nazi experimenters who begin draining her blood and, as she screams in agony, they brand her like livestock with a coal-hot steel swastika," says the Page Sixer, "and every girl in the Nazi concentration camp is topless." In another trailer, directed by Hostel's Eli Roth, "Jordan Ladd is in a car with her boyfriend and giving him head when she lovingly reaches to stroke his hair and discovers his neck is just a bloody stump – some maniac had just cut off his head while she was in the act." And those are just the trailers.
