The Book of James

James St James had his gathering of fans at Book Soup last night rapt and rollicking at a reading from his book Freak Show that was so stirring we imagine it falls second in dramatic presentation only to legendary stage actress Sarah Bernhardt's famous portrayal of Hamlet in 1900. St. James puts on a hilarious show just being himself. After a brief Q&A session that was comprised mostly of compliments to the chef, St. James continued entertaining in the back of the bookstore as he signed books, posed for photos, chatted, and gave everyone an individual dose of fabulous.
