Tunnel Vision

Lastdiana02-1
Despite objections from Princes William and Harry that airing images of the dead Princess Diana inside the car that crashed in Paris in August 1997 would be showing "gross disrespect" to their mother, UK's Channel 4 will broadcast the documentary Diana: The Witnesses in the Tunnel as scheduled tonight, without editing. But the Channel 4 website does concede that "one image in the film has been appropriately obscured to avoid any unwarranted intrusion into the victims' privacy or that of their families."

quite frankly, any showing of photos of Princess Diana's last moments are just in the worst of taste, and it's only being done for profit. Evcen if there is a "public interest", the line has to be drawn somewhere.. just because the public is interested in something doesn't mean they should get to see it. And yes, a little respect for the Pricnes and Diana's family is in order.
