Campbell Does Candomblé?

NcampbellcandombleBecause she flew to darkest Rio de Janeiro last week to meet with Tuca Franchini, a Father Saint in the Candomblé sect, thought to practice witchcraft, it's being said that troubled supermodel Naomi Campbell is consulting a witch doctor to cure what ails her. Seems her sentence of anger-management classes and five days of community service following her court date for bashing her assistant with a cell phone has left Campbell confused and seeking answers. Serving the community? What does that even mean? And anger management? Father Tuca says he's "never seen her lose her temper, become irritated or angry." No wonder he's a comfort. But Campbell swears there is no truth to the stories that she's switching to Candomblé from her Protestant faith. "I'm Church Of England. [...] I was christened that. I went to a party for a guy whose birthday it was," she told the NY Daily News, referring to Franchini. (We're thinking he must be hot.) "I don't discriminate against what religion people have. That's what he does, but it doesn't mean I have to be involved in it."
