Manson Gets Wood
While comprehensive partying was the major contributor to 34-year-old Dita Von Teese's exiting her marriage to Marilyn Manson, 38, his relationship with Thirteen star Evan Rachel Wood, 19, was a factor. "Dita is heartbroken, she didn't see this coming," said a friend. But she should have. Manson asked Wood to be in his upcoming film, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll; she sat for one of his ghoulish watercolor portraits ("I was beyond flattered," she said); she was at the opening of his new art gallery in Hollywood; and Page Six reports that on the night Von Teese left Manson (he didn't notice she was gone), he had a listening party for his new album at his house and Wood was there, being very attentive. "They were like an old married couple," said a source. "She was always right next to him." Wood's mouthpiece says, unsurprisingly, "They are doing a movie together. The friendship grew out of Evan's great admiration for Marilyn as an aritst. They are nothing more than friends." Developing.
