Tranny Humor

BeyerstepsdownGeorgina Beyer, the first transsexual elected to national office in New Zealand (that they know of), has stepped down as a member of Parliament without stating why, but it's assumed she'll run for mayor of Wellington. Before she transitioned, George Beyer was a hustler and a stripper in Australia, After he became a woman, she moved to New Zealand, stinted as a waitress, worked for LGBT rights, and transitioned again, if you will, into politics. Beyer has said she would like to become involved in showbiz. In her final speech to Parliament, Beyer said, "While I have relished the opportunity at being a member in this House, I am glad I don't possess one." (365 Gay via Queerty)

This is very shocking and disappointing news to me. I think that Georgina was either threatened, blackmailed, or somehow coerced into relinquishing her position within the house.

This is a smack in the face of the Transgendered Community!

Sincerely,
Tracie Stevens

Hi Tracie

I don't think it's a smack in the face. They did state that she's hoping to become the Mayor of Wellington which is the Capital of New Zealand! Not because for an ex-footy player!

I wish her all the best and hope she's successful in her bid for mayor.
