Winehouse Woes

A very worried Amy Winehouse was seen nervously enjoying some 6AM cocktails with friends at a London bar yesterday. She is concerned over the fact that she's to be interrogated by police on her possible involvement in the bribery plot that has resulted in her husband being thrown in jail. Originally, only Blake Fielder-Civil, his friend, and the victim who suffered "grievous bodily harm" at the hands of Fielder-Civil were implicated in the "conspiracy to pervert the course of justice" case, but when police realized that the out-of-work Fielder-Civil had $400,000 at hand for the bribe, they widened their focus to include Winehouse, confiscating her mobile phone and bank records, her computer software, and also paid a visit to her accountants. "We have no evidence against Amy being involved in any crime," Scotland Yard assured R&B fans everywhere. "If we had, she would have been arrested straight away. But we do want to talk to her about matters, particularly financial ones, which may be important in this case." While waiting for the cops to send a car round for her, Winehouse managed to post holiday greetings to pals, including Pretty on the Outside's David Gilmore. (The Sun)
