When our friend, comedian Emo Philips, gets his name in a crossword puzzle, which not surprisingly is often, it's usually just his first name, with a brief clue: "Funny Philips." But in the LA Times puzzle on Saturday, the clue was a lengthy one-liner and the answer was his full name. Then this morning we got an email from him with great news – for him:

Dear Friend and/or Creditor:
I have great news for me! I will be a regular character in a hit new animated television show which will premier tonight, Monday, August 13, at 10/9c on ABC Family. It is called Slacker Cats. I provide the voice of a homeless cat called Dooper. If you don't believe me, please check out www.slackercats.com. Thanks so much for reading this... and I hope you like the show!
