All About Jane

Palm Beach socialite Celia Lipton Farris once did a spot-on impersonation of Bette Davis in a one-woman show and now a UK film company wants to star her in a remake of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? as the the washed-up, heavily made-up title character. The producers think there's no one better for the part; they've even agreed to shoot the movie in Palm Beach to snare her. Farris, however, has twice turned down the role. If they're really so fixed on doing this unnecessary remake and their first choice is unwilling to participate, we think the producers should check to see if Sylvia Miles is busy. (Page Six)
