And speaking of plugs, the Why I Hate LA contest we're running in conjunction with this Sunday's second-season opener (11:30PM, IFC) of The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman was picked up today by Fishbowl LA, and for that we thank Kate.

And TMZ took notice today of Lenora Claire and the portrait of booby Bea Arthur that will be the centerpiece of Claire's show at the World of Wonder storefront gallery, opening Saturday, August 11. She's collected a multitude paintings of the Golden Girls in various states of undress. The show is one of four being, um, mounted during our ART IN AUGUST storefront extravaganza.
