Pink in the Drink

An albino dolphin with red eyes and glossy pink skin was spotted and photographed by Captain Erik Rue of the Calcasieu Charter Service during a routine charter fishing trip on Calcasieu Lake south of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The fashionable mammal is smaller and somewhat more fabulous than the other dolphins it was seen with and may be young and traveling with its mother. Although news reports admit the aquatic marvel is "rare and beautiful," they are also not surprisingly calling it a "freak of nature," which can only mean great things are in store for it.
