PLEASE, people DON'T TAKE THIS AS A STRIKE against Methadone. There are so many people out there, PEOPLE YOU KNOW AND LOVE, who have been taking methadone for YEARS AND YEARS.

I think you are going to be VERY SURPRISED when you're able to recognize the cavalcade of celebs with-which Methadone Maintenance and or detox programs have either saved THEIR LIVES, or close friends.
I won' mention any names, but one of the most recognizable rhymes with "Wobert Drownie Runior" (Damned marbles) might wanna polish his star a lil, give himself a bit of publicity- and tell the kids at home what's really behind his recent successes.-

Mixing Methadone- with other drugs that suppress your respiratory system, Valium, etc. If you choke? Throw up etc? Very difficult to catch your breath again.

When you've been taking methadone for a long time... you don't get HIGH from it. It just keeps you from withdrawing. THATS IT. You build up an immunity to it's effects.
So, in the case of her son dying? Methadone isn't considered a drug that would help calm her anxiety, although they may have raised her levels a bit if she was in danger or relapsing back onto whatever drug it was she was taking.
They would have prescribed, Valium, or Xanax to get her over the initial hump after her son died.

I think in the end, her death and the circumstances? Will be very anti-climactic. Simple.

However the story surrounding the baby- that'll unfortunately be the story.
SO SO SAD. The best thing /they/ (Whoever Daddy is) could do for that child is to move her to,.... oh- Italy, or BumF&$%k South America, put her in a private school, GET HER OUT OF HERE.
