Liquid Assets
Back in 1995, WOW's UK office produced a program for the BBC, called TV Africa, that sampled some of the television coming out of that continent. We dug up the portion of the show that featured Namibia, the country so warmly embraced by the Jolie-Pitts and forever the hometown of their new baby, Shiloh Nouvel. And from the clip we learn that in the local school, little Shiloh will be taught the secret of making the special liquid used for cleaning cars, carpets, and kitchen utensils. One day, Shiloh will reveal that secret to Mommy and Daddy, who will bottle the liquid, price it at somewhere close to a year's salary of an average African worker, and sell it in one of their high-end "traditional African housewares" boutiques.
