The Limey in the Coconut Tree

In Fiji, taking a break from touring with the Stones, Keith Richards and Ron Wood decided on Wednesday to climb a palm tree together, as longtime bandmates will often do. Halfway up, Richards, 62, lost his grip and came tumbling down, seriously banging his head. Thinking nothing of it, he went jet skiing on Friday and, according to reports, had an accident on the water and was first treated in a local medical facility then airlifted to a hospital in New Zealand, where he was given a brain scan and fussed over. No one in his camp or at the hospital is giving specifics, but his wife Patti is with him and several guitars have been brought in. (More)
