Camping Out in SF

It's one year since the Child Molestation Trial of the Century and 30 years since San Francisco started its Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Put them together and what do you get? No, silly, not more child molestations! You get a screening of WOW's own Camp Michael Jackson (dirs. Glenn Gaylord & Q Allan Brocka) this Saturday, June 17th, 5:30PM at the fabulous Victoria Theatre. Perfectly paired (pun extremely intended) with the doc, For the Love of Dolly, which explores the fandom of the almighty bosomed one, Camp Michael Jackson is a look at the fans who congregated around the Santa Maria Courthouse to support their idol. The Bay Area Reporter calls it "truly astonishing." If you happen to be in the San Francisco area this weekend and are tired of standing around in your buttless chaps at Daddy's, then get said butt to the festival. More info at www.frameline.org.
