What About Doubleknits?
A disturbing thing happened yesterday. Moye, who seven times out of 10 has impeccable taste, made a huge fashion faux pas: brown shoes with a black dress. I would have let it pass (NOT) if it weren't for the fact that her new black H&M shirt dress was so cute. I was living for it. (Even if it was featured on MSNBC's Friday Fashion tip sheet and cost only $34.90! I had to be firm and clear with her. No brown shoes with cute black dresses! It's in her best interest.
Then later that night I go to the Outfest premiere and what do I see? Can you believe it? In one day? Two appalling fashion faux pas. It gets worse people! You see, the feet in these brown shoes ALSO belong to a World Of Wonderite! Girls, what are you thinking? Do you know where you work? Do you realize how many people would die to be in your shoes? (AND those shoes would be appropriately colored!)
But, the night was saved. As I soaked in the entire outfit worn by superstar producer/director Michaline Babich, she made me proud. One simple accessory made it all work. It's all the details, girls!

And I am NEVER more than 2 minutes away from a chair.

It's obvious to me both women were going for comfort. A wedge would have been so much cuter on both but only if they were never more than two minutes away from a chair.
